When you're caught in a spiral of self-criticism, take a breath. Breathe some space between your Self and this inner critic. See if you can unblend from it, even if it's just five percent. Ask the part to step back. Can you open your heart and get curious about this part? What is the part afraid would happen if it didn't criticize? Just listen with openness and curiosity. It's important to get to know our parts.
