Once Self-leadership is achieved, the parts do not disappear.  They remain to advise the Self, help resolve problems, or lend talents and emotions. Each part plays 
a different, valuable role according to its interests and abilities. In this type of harmonious system, the parts generally cooperate with each other; but when conflicts arise, the Self mediates.
